Milton Friedman Documentary on PBS
On Monday, Jan 29, PBS will air "The Power of Choice," a documentary on Milton Friedman. We read Froma Harrop's column today, and as she listed all the things she hates about the show, we became more and more convinced it's going to be excellent. Here's a preview.
Friedman's book, "Free to Choose," and his PBS series of the same name were both strong influences on our thinking on economics and politics. He did a tremendous job making the case for freedom and individual choice and for capitalism as the best system in existence for organizing human activities.
Nebraska's NETV (12) is showing "The Power of Choice" at 9:00 PM CDT. NET2 will rebroadcast the show on Jan 30 at 2:00 AM; 10:00 AM; and 3:00 PM. I've already set my DVR; don't miss it.
